UCLA 35th Annual Tax Controversy Institute – Message from Institute Chair STEVEN TOSCHER – Save the Date – October 20, 2020
It doesn’t seem like very long ago that we were all together last October at the 2019 UCLA Extension Tax Controversy Institute. Much has changed since then and I hope all of you are coping in these challenging times. We are saving the date of October 20, 2020 for this year’s Institute. We all hope we will have the coronavirus under control by then so we can carry on the tradition and all feel comfortable meeting and exchanging ideas vital to the success of tax administration.
We are optimists and are proceeding with planning the Institute for October, 2020, as both a Webinar and an in-person gathering that has made it such a success. If circumstances suggest an in person gathering is not appropriate, we will go with the Webinar- not as good – but we will make it great. Let us know if you have any suggestions for the Institute or would like to become a sponsor.
I have attached last year’s Message from the Chair just published in CCH’s UCLA Edition of Tax Practice and Procedure. In addition to discussing the rich history of the Institute and the wonderful presentations last year, it contains a great selection of pictures of last year’s participants which brought a big smile to my face. I hope it brings a smile to yours. We all need smiles.
Look forward to seeing you all this October. Click Here for the Message from the Chair
