Hochman Salkin Toscher Perez P.C. Welcomes Associates GARABED “GARY” MARKARIAN and TENZING TUNDEN

Gary Markarian is a recent graduate of Loyola Law School’s joint J.D./ Tax LL.M. program, where he graduated with High Distinction. Prior to law school, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Political Science.

Gary’s prior experience includes working as a law clerk for the Law Offices of Givner & Kaye, APC. Additionally, Gary gained tax experience with externships at the Office of Chief Counsel, IRS (LB&I) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Tax Division (CDCA). Gary has also worked with clients through Loyola Law School’s Sales and Use Tax Clinic.

Tenzing Tunden is a recent graduate of New York University School of Law, where he obtained his LL.M. in Taxation and was the recipient of the Dean’s Graduate Award and the Lewis R. Steinberg Tax Law Review Scholarship. He graduated from University of California, Davis School of Law where he Co-Chaired the Tax Law Society and obtained his Tax Law Certificate with an emphasis in State and Local Tax and Tax Controversy. Prior to law school, Tenzing graduated from the University of Arizona, with a B.S. in Accounting.

Tenzing’s prior experience includes his externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Tax Division (NDCA) and the California Franchise Tax Board. Tenzing has also worked with the University of California, Davis’ VITA program.
